Bottomless Pit

When Matt & I are not eating or trying to figure out what to eat or on our way to get something to eat, you can usually find us watching The Food Network. We're both fat kids at heart. With this said, baby H had little to no chance of being any different. In his 9 short months of existence, he has yet to refuse or spit out anything we've put in front of him. Babies typically start solids around 6 months but our H started a couple of months earlier as directed by our pediatrician when we told her how much milk he was taking down daily. Since then he's been consuming cereal, sweet potatoes, avocados, broccoli, carrots, beef casserole with onions & garlic, peaches, blueberries, spinach, zucchini, shrimp crackers, cheerios, apples and the occasional finger of the poor soul who makes the mistake of slowing down the pace while feeding him - just to name a few.

Exhibit A, today's lunch. The menu consisted of nutty orzo coated in sweet butternut squash accompanied by a creamy cauliflower, potato & leak mash. A smooth puree of sweet mangos and bananas round out the meal.

H about had a coniption because I answered a call from my mom right as I was about to start feeding him. 10 minutes, a few giggles and a round of hand claps later:

Now if only his dad would eat vegetables...
