More of the same...with a twist

After dragging my flat unpainted footsies for a couple days I finally hooked our desktop back up and was able to upload some recent pics. Please, don't everyone rush to comment at once. (By don't I mean do...so I guess in this one case, yes means no.)

I know H's shoes look like they're a masculine pair of ruby red slippers but I assure you there is no bling on his Jordans. Jorts would faint at the thought. Speaking of jorts, H is sporting a slight variation, known as khorts. (khaki shorts) It's right up there with color blocking in this spring's fashion trends. That's right, you read it here first folks.

And here you have H posing with his favorite parent (and it has nothing to do with the fact that I bribe him with drink or food)

Playing peek-a-boo with mommy as she hides in the lush basil centerpiece. (Is it weird that I just referred to myself in the 3rd person?)

H (looking more like a 3 year old than a 16-mo. old, in my non-biased opinion) may or may not be squeezing out a little turtle head while enjoying his breakfast.

Doing what these BFF's do best while mommy lurks in the shadows taking pictures. Seriously, nothing can tear these two away from each other. I was doing one-handed cartwheels while taking these pics and not even a look in my direction.

Finally the foodie section.

I bought some avocados in hopes that H would remember how much he loved them during his 1st year but all I got was a mouthful of it spit out on his nice clean button up just minutes before mass. There was no way we were going toconsume the amount of guacomole the leftovers would make with Cinco de Mayo still a month away so I took one, chopped half of it up and folded it into my scrambled eggs then mashed the other half and spread it on my toast, topping it w/ a pinch of salt & a dash (or three) of Frank's hot sauce. Deeeelish. Now what to do with the other 4???

Have a fantabulastic weekend everyone!
