Who painted this breath-taking piece of art, you ask?
That's right, this gal right here. *Two thumbs pointing at my face*
And boy was the right side of my brain sore afterwards.
In fact, I'm pretty sure it has slowly atrophied (can atrophy be used as a verb?) over the last several years and my left side has probably completely taken over.
A few months ago I bought a Groupon (with which I am obsessed) for this nifty place and finally went the other day to Van Gogh Vino night. The title was a bit deceiving because we actually ended up painting a Georgia O'Keefe piece and I didn't partake in the vino portion for obvious reasons but it was an incredible experience nonetheless. I took my artistically inclined sister and had an amazing time. The class started out very well behaved with everyone slowly sipping on their reds & whites in between brush strokes but 3 hours, a case of wine and a few mini-bottles later (snuck in by the group of rebellious high school teachers), it felt more like last call then the end of a painting class. Fortunately I had my sister and a couple other preggos in the class to laugh with me at the Sloppy McSloppersons. The studio is a bit far to go again (unless another Groupon appears!) but I highly recommend it for anyone looking to do something different for girls' night.
i would love to go to that place with christi. drinking and painting? i cant imagine what she would come up with!
